In 2025-26, Chiarina visited four DC public schools and welcomed young audiences to our fourth annual concert for families, building on our successful outreach programs from past seasons. In December, we brought the engaging Catalyst Quartet to perform at two DCPS middle schools.
In May, we performed Vivaldi’s Four Seasons for a lively audience of all ages at St. Mark’s and then brought this program to two DCPS elementary schools. Following this program, one student wrote: “You blew my mind how fast you can move your fingers!”
We also presented a master class with violinist Njioma Grevious for young performers in the Washington Musical Pathways Initiative at Levine Music, a partnership we plan to continue and expand in the coming seasons.
In 2026-27, we will return to schools with the Jasper Quartet and Imani Winds, and we will present our new program, Composing Our City, for school audiences.
